We are seeking an experienced and highly responsible Construction Project Manager to oversee the on-site management of a significant renovation project in Reading. This project involves the transformation of a historically protected landmark into a multi-functional space that integrates culture, art, and commercial elements.

Responsibilities:

• Fully manage and coordinate the construction site to ensure timely, high-quality, and budget-compliant completion.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and various specialist teams to maintain safety and progress.
• Manage construction schedules, identify risks, and implement proactive measures.
• Maintain effective communication with the design team, project stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to resolve technical construction issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and progress standards on-site.
• Assist in cost control and construction change management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction site management in the UK or internationally.
• Familiarity with UK building regulations and HSE construction standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese communication is essential.
• Professional qualifications such as RICS or CIOB are preferred.
• Ability to adapt to high-intensity work phases during project execution.
