Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage concrete finishing on metal deck systems. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing complex construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. You will work closely with various teams, including contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors, to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee concrete finishing operations on metal deck systems for commercial and industrial projects.
2. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
3. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure the design and specifications are followed accurately.
4. Supervise and lead site teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices.
5. Perform regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure concrete finishing meets or exceeds the required standards.
6. Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction.
7. Prepare and present regular project progress reports to stakeholders.
8. Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
9. Collaborate with the project team to resolve design, technical, and scheduling challenges.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager with a focus on concrete finishing and metal deck systems.
2. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations related to concrete and metal deck systems.
3. Strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques and troubleshooting.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
5. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. A degree or certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
8. Valid project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
9. Strong proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
