Job summary

We Are Footprint is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a Tier 1 main contractor for a major £40m refurbishment project in Leeds. You will lead delivery, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, and ensure the project progresses to programme milestones within an occupied environment.

The role requires strong programme, commercial and health & safety knowledge, with a background in refurbishment, fit-out, and working with clients on complex spaces.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a Tier 1/main contractor.
• Strong refurbishment, commercial and fit-out background.
• Confident in managing subcontractors, consultants and client teams.
• Strong programme, commercial and health & safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery on a major £40m refurbishment project in Leeds.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and client teams to programme milestones.
• Drive health & safety compliance across site activities.
• Manage budgets, schedules and change control within occupied environments.

PROJECT MANAGER – TIER 1 MAIN CONTRACTOR

We are currently working with a Tier 1 main contractor who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a major £40m project in the heart of Leeds.

The project involves the full refurbishment and transformation of a commercial building, including:

• New roof
• Major M&E replacement
• Internal fit-out
• Grade A office space
• BREEAM Excellent / high sustainability targets
• Working alongside a major public-sector client

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a Tier 1/main contractor
• Strong refurbishment / commercial / fit-out background
• Confident managing subcontractors, consultants and client teams
• Strong programme, commercial and health & safety knowledge
• Ideally experience working on complex live/occupied environment
