Construction Project Manager (No1) - School Project in West Sussex

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a £60 million school project in West Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the project from inception to completion, embodying our commitment to sustainability and innovative design, including low carbon materials and a concrete frame.

Job Purpose & Scope:

You will be solely responsible for the safe and economical management of the site, ensuring progress, workmanship, health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are met by effectively managing labor, plant, materials, and subcontractors.

Skills and Experience:
  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Construction
  • Extensive experience with main contractors
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and H&S laws
  • Leadership and financial control skills with a profit-oriented mindset
  • Results-driven with stress management skills
  • High standards of quality and prioritization of H&S
  • Innovative, with the ability to improve work processes
General Duties:

Manage all aspects of the project, including health, safety, environment, subcontractor management, and adherence to company standards. Collaborate with commercial and procurement teams to protect the company's interests and ensure effective management of all disciplines involved in the project.
