As a Site Manager, you’ll be assigned to live projects, playing a key role in ensuring schemes are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
What you’ll do:
- Participate in internal and client meetings, providing input on planning, coordination, and delivery for smooth project execution.
- Support the Contracts or Operations Manager in developing and managing the site programme, including labour, plant, and crane requirements.
- Prepare and maintain key project documentation such as method statements, risk assessments, and lifting plans, ensuring compliance.
- Liaise with internal departments including Production, Procurement, and QS to coordinate deliveries, logistics, and site readiness.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
- Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks, promoting safety and compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain resources and ensure progress aligns with the construction schedule.
- Monitor site performance, track KPIs, raise non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
- Attend client and subcontractor meetings, communicate updates, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
- Mentor and support Assistant Site Managers, contributing to team development and site performance.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in site or project management within construction.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of site operations.
- Engineering project management background with transferable skills is also considered.
