Job Description:

This role supports the safe and effective delivery of site-based nuclear projects. You’ll lead planning and coordination from concept through to commissioning. Your future team bridges engineering, commercial, and construction functions.

  • Support the Project Manager across safety, schedule, cost, and quality targets
  • Lead multi-disciplinary delivery teams on assigned projects and packages
  • Work with Pre-Operations and Commissioning to develop clear requirements
  • Maintain project documentation including briefs, plans, and quality frameworks
  • Track programme progress and escalate risks or issues as required
  • Drive adherence to contract scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Support planning, procurement, and stakeholder alignment activities
  • Review documentation, contractor deliverables, and ensure site integration
Qualifications
Essential Skills
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge of APM principles and experience delivering complex projects
  • Proven ability to lead multi-functional project teams on live sites
  • Awareness of CDM Regulations and UK H&S legislation
  • Ability to manage cost, scope, and scheduling in a live project environment
  • Strong reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English
Desired Skills
  • Experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance and project governance frameworks
  • Experience in procurement, contractor coordination, or tendering
  • French language skills
  • Familiarity with contract frameworks and commercial tools
