Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction and refurbishment projects from start to finish across Plymouth sites. You will manage subcontractors, programmes, budgets and procurement while ensuring safe, compliant delivery.

You should have proven experience in construction/refurbishment or M&E contracting, strong commercial awareness, and an essential SMSTS qualification. An HND in building, civil, mechanical or electrical engineering and solid MS Office skills

Qualifications

• Proven construction, refurbishment, M&E contracting or hard FM project management experience.
• Strong subcontractor management and commercial awareness.
• SMSTS or equivalent management-level Health & Safety qualification (essential).
• HND in building, civil, mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent project experience.
• Microsoft Office competence and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of construction/refurbishment projects from start to finish.
• Manage subcontractors, project programmes, resources, budgets and procurement.
• Control cost, commercial and contractual risks, milestones and quality.
• Oversee RAMS, safe systems of work, statutory standards and environmental requirements.
• Work closely with site managers, customers and supply chain partners.
• Maintain accurate project reporting and resolve delivery challenges.
