Job summary

Ridgeway & Co Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor on a major commercial project in Cambridge.

You will supervise site delivery teams, subcontractors and programmes, ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction across all construction phases. The role demands proven experience delivering large-scale commercial buildings and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Manager delivering large-scale commercial buildings.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and packages.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of a major commercial construction project.
• Manage and coordinate site management teams, subcontractors and specialist packages.
• Oversee construction programmes, milestones and delivery targets.
• Collaborate with Commercial Manager, QS and Design Management teams.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure works meet health & safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Monitor progress and address delays with corrective actions.
• Lead site meetings and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure successful completion and handover.
