Construction Administrator / Planner
Up to £25,000 - £28,000

CBW has an immediate opening for a planner / helpdesk administrator to join a facilities company in East Renfrewshire.

This position will be part of the Installation and Projects team, providing essential support to ensure the department's success. The role offers varied responsibilities and opportunities to develop new skills. You will work closely with Project Managers to provide logistic planning for engineers and perform various administrative duties. This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding team within a positive and rewarding work culture.

Responsibilities / Person Specification:
  1. Liaise with contractors and tradesmen to ensure effective and timely work completion.
  2. Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and data entry.
  3. Book engineers for work assignments.
  4. Arrange travel and accommodation for staff.
  5. Communicate with contractors and clients.
  6. Raise purchase orders and stock orders; liaise with the commercial team.
  7. Provide administrative support to the Health and Safety Manager.
  8. Assist with external communications.
  9. Demonstrate attention to detail.
  10. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Manage workload effectively with strong planning and organizational skills.
  12. Previous experience in the construction or renewables sector is preferred.
