Job description

Nuclear Restoration Services Limited (NRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). NRS is responsible for decommissioning various nuclear power stations and research sites across the UK, as well as managing electricity at hydroelectric plants.

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Planner to provide planning services to the Construction Manager, ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Key Duties include:

  • Managing the Construction Integrated Plan and coordinating site resources.
  • Assisting in conducting planning sessions and producing detailed schedules.
  • Monitoring progress, reviewing contractor plans, and ensuring schedule alignment.
  • Facilitating planning meetings, analyzing risks, and making recommendations.
  • Supporting health, safety, environmental, and quality policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NQF Level 5 or equivalent planning experience (essential).
  • NVQ Level in Construction (essential).
  • BSc Civil Engineering or similar (desirable).
  • Membership of a professional body (desirable).
  • Experience with Primavera P6 and critical path analysis (essential).
