Job summary

Bouygues Energies & Services has a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Planner to be based at the Hinkley Point C site in Bridgwater. The role involves developing and maintaining detailed mechanical and electrical construction schedules and providing evidence-based progress information.

You will work with the construction team to integrate engineering, materials, access, resources, quality and commissioning requirements ensuring activities are ready for execution.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, maintaining and reporting project schedules for EPCC projects.
• Experience with lead operational responsibility in mechanical and electrical installation works sequencing and detailed planning.
• Proficient in use of planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Akumen FUSE, MS Project).
• Working knowledge of project scheduling methods (baseline, critical path, progress, EV management).

• Annual and shift based physical progress target definition and reporting.
• Productivity, Earned Value, CPI, SPI definition, calculation methods and reporting.

Job Purpose:

To develop and maintain detailed mechanical and electrical construction schedules. Provide accurate, evidence-based progress information and support visibility of construction readiness, productivity, constraints and schedule risks.

Work closely with the construction team to integrate engineering, materials, access, resources, quality and commissioning requirements, ensuring planned activities are ready for execution.
