  • Produce and maintain construction schedules and reports.
  • Conduct critical path analysis to optimize workflow.
  • Support monthly cost reporting with the Cost Manager.

Job Title:
Construction Planner (P6)

Description & Background:
At Hinkley Point C, one of the country's premier construction projects, they are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes. The organisation has a large scope of work including mechanical manufacturing/production of pipework and associated elements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monthly Cost Report
  2. Production and maintenance of schedules
  3. Analysis of schedules to ensure most efficient workflow
  4. Critical Path analysis
  5. Leading schedule look ahead to ensure timely and proactive delivery
  6. Generating schedule reports as required
  7. Working with the Cost Manager to support the Monthly Cost Report

Experience Required:

  1. Relevant professional qualification, or qualified by experience
  2. Experience of Construction Planning
  3. P6 SQEP
  4. Experience of site works
  5. Highly skilled in the use of all aspects of P6
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  7. Good IT literacy
  8. Work from the office

Location:
Hinkley Point C Site

Salary + Hours:
Full-time, 10-12 hours per day, Monday-Friday
£35 per hour PAYE
10 days on, 4 days off rota
