Job summary

Career Legal is recruiting a Paralegal to join a top UK law firm in the Leeds office within the Construction team. This permanent role requires you to work four days per week in the Leeds office and support case management, diary management and client reporting.

The firm offers a salary up to £26,228 per year plus benefits, with opportunities to draft submissions, conduct legal research and liaise with courts as part of a busy, 40+ fee-earner practice.

Qualifications

• Completed law degree (LLB or GDL) is required.
• LPC or SQE1 is preferred but not essential.
• Experience as a Paralegal in Litigation and/or Construction is advantageous.
• Willingness to attend Leeds office four days per week (Mon-Thu).

Responsibilities

• Assist in case management on a fee-earning basis.
• Diaries key dates and chase when necessary.
• Provide clients with progress reports.
• Assist with drafting advice to clients.
• Assist in drafting submissions for arbitration proceedings.
• Keep up to date with relevant public announcements.
• Liaise with the Court as necessary.
• Assist clients with investigations.
• Conduct legal research.
