We operate nationally across various UK surfacing contracts and are a major producer of bitumen and asphalt in the South East of England. The Package

• Starting salary of £18,800 per year (increasing to National Minimum/Living wage after 12 months if applicable)
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• 40 Hours per week

What will I be doing as an apprentice?

We are seeking a motivated Level 3 Materials Laboratory Technician to support our team in delivering high-quality testing services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sampling and testing aggregate, sands, raw materials, and bituminous materials at required frequencies.
• Monitoring analysis trends and taking preventative actions to maintain quality and performance.
• Reporting product failures and non-conformities to management.
• Providing technical support to internal departments and customers within guidelines.
• Inputting data and operating laboratory computer systems.
• Conducting preliminary complaint investigations.
• Maintaining laboratory environment and test equipment calibration.

How does the apprenticeship work?

You will be mentored by experts from Tiro and Eurovia, gaining practical experience and skills while earning a salary, avoiding student debt.
