Job Description: Construction Manager - M&E Biased - Permanent or Freelance

Do you have a strong background in M&E construction management?
Are you experienced in overseeing M&E installations in residential or commercial?

My contractor client is looking for a Site Manager to work on a new build residential project in South/South West London as an M&E Site Manager. For this position, my client will also consider offering a long term freelance contract for the right person.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the M&E elements of construction projects from design to completion
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards
  • Oversee M&E contractors and suppliers to maintain project timelines
  • Implement quality control measures for mechanical and electrical installations
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless project integration

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager with an M&E bias
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in construction
  • Experience managing M&E works for main contractors
  • Ability to resolve technical challenges efficiently
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations related to M&E installations
