Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for Construction Manager Large Projects. You will support the tendering team by developing construction execution strategies, cost estimates, and schedules for Large EPC projects across energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. This role requires strong knowledge of construction methodologies, equipment requirements, labour productivity, and subcontractor management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing construction methodology input during the bid and proposal stage.
  • Preparing accurate construction cost estimates including labor, equipment, and subcontractor elements.
  • Developing preliminary execution plans and project schedules to support bidding strategies.
  • Reviewing tender documents and identifying construction risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
  • Collaborating with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams to align construction requirements.
  • Supporting bid presentations and negotiations with clients, ensuring clarity of construction approach.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in construction execution within EPC projects, with at least 2 years in a tendering, estimating, or planning role.
  • Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary construction methods and sequencing.
  • Competency in estimating tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to work under tender deadlines.
