Murphy is recruiting for a Construction Manager to work with the Energy Team on the Western Isles HVDC Link Project. The role focuses on coordinating constructability input, allocating resources, and delivering on-schedule performance with safety and quality at the fore.

You will lead construction activities on major infrastructure, manage budgets and subcontractors, and engage with clients, landowners, regulators and partners.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading construction on major infra, HVDC or transmission projects.
• Strong HSEQ leadership with Zero Harm focus.
• Ability to manage contractors and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate constructability input during solutions identification.
• Allocate construction staff based on skills and project load.
• Manage resources incl. Labour, Plant and Materials.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and adherence to schedules.
• Ensure conformance with CDM Regulations and safety.
