Construction Manager - E&P/ P&D

Location: Midlands

Type: Long-term rolling contract

Rate: £450 PER DAY Umbrella

Vital has a really exciting opportunity for a P&D Construction Manager who is looking for a new challenge to work alongside a highly knowledgeable E&P / D&P team. We are seeking an individual with Construction Management experience, ideally within a contractor environment.

Our client is a reputable contractor within the rail sector, having worked on the UK’s major engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements
  1. Previous experience as a Construction Manager within E&P / D&P.
  2. Degree qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and a professional qualification such as CEng or MAPM.
  3. Plan and manage resource allocation, including labour, plant, and materials.
  4. Implement and promote health and safety standards across projects.
  5. Manage sub-contractors and liaise with stakeholders.
  6. Deliver construction management duties on rail infrastructure projects.
  7. Oversee sub-stations, power supply, and feeder works.
  8. Utilise LV and HV experience to ensure project success.
  9. Ensure effective delivery of E&P projects, driving work progress.
  10. Strong knowledge & experience of Rail Systems.
