MWH Treatment is seeking a Construction Manager for the Otterbourne Project, reporting to the Project Manager and overseeing HSE, environmental, and sustainability compliance for all delivered construction work. You will lead local delivery teams to meet safety, cost and schedule targets.
Lead supplier performance on safety, time and quality, drive constructability reviews and sign‑offs, and champion waste reduction and low embodied carbon.
We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Construction Manager working on our Otterbourne Project.
You will report directly to the Project Manager and your role will include managing Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability with responsibility for managing compliance for all delivered construction work. Managing your local construction delivery team to ensure all construction activities are provided in compliance with the scheme deliverables
Skills/ExperienceTemporary Works Experience/QualificationProject Management Experience.Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline.APMP or equivalentExtensive experience in large scale programmes of construction deliveryExperience in the water / wastewater treatment industryExperienced in management of and monitoring of Project Programmes.Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to work in close partnership with clients and end users.Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targetsAble to manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives.Strategic, operational, technical and management skills Commercially astute
