Construction Manager

What you will do
Asset+ (part of Johnson Controls) are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in delivering building projects within a variety of environments. The successful candidate will need to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

How you will do it:

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of building and renewably projects within NHS hospital settings, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Managing project delivery, including risk assessments, contractor management and day to day tasks

• Collaborate with contractors, and external consultants to ensure project objectives are met

• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and reporting this to the Senior Project Manager

• Preparing regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders

• Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

Required:

• Extensive experience as a Construction Manager

• Strong knowledge of construction processes,

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.

Desirable:

• Experience in Construction projects

• Certification in relevant Health & Safety and management SSTS or SMSTS

• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and digital construction technologies.
