A leading utility company in the UK is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects in the wastewater sector. You will ensure compliance with CDM regulations, lead safety improvements, and collaborate with various stakeholders. This role is critical in supporting a £6billion civil programme which provides Severn Trent Water a site presence to assure, support and manage the supply chain. This would also involve overseeing a team of highly trained and professional Construction Assurance Engineers to plan and manage a multitude of construction activities over the STW regional area providing HSQE cover to over 100 projects each month. As the Construction Manager you will ensure that the client's responsibilities under CDM 2015 are achieved effectively, utilising an assurance process to confirm and meet CDM compliance, identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective measures.

You will have a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds, and hold a relentless drive for continuous improvement, with the ability to innovate and anticipate unexpected issues and challenges as they arise within the Water Civil Sector.
You will have extensive experience in construction, technical knowledge in Temporary works, Confined Space, review and understand construction design drawings with the ability to challenge. You will also have experience of implementing CDM regulations in delivery of projects and experience working to standards, codes and practices and health and safety regulations.
