Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Northamptonshire seeks a Lecturer in Construction Management on a 0.5 FTE permanent basis. The role focuses on delivering practical learning, supporting students with industry-aligned curricula, and developing future construction professionals.

You will bring real-world knowledge, deliver teaching across Construction and Built Environment programmes, and support student achievement through curriculum development and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent.
• Membership of a relevant professional body.
• Appropriate professional qualification in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Experience teaching, training, mentoring or assessing learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Construction and Built Environment programmes to a high standard.
• Create engaging, industry-focused learning experiences.
• Act as course tutor for full-time and part-time groups.
• Manage course administration, attendance and progress.
• Provide academic guidance and pastoral support to learners.
• Contribute to curriculum planning to meet industry needs.
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
• Help learners progress into employment or further study.
