Job summary

RG Setsquare in Central London is seeking a Management Accountant for a construction-based group to drive financial management and reporting across all trading entities. You will contribute to robust controls, statutory compliance, and provide accurate financial insight for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including statutory reporting.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process accounting journals for group entities.
• Own the month-end close process and produce Management Accounts for the group trading entities.
• Prepare variance analyses, cash flow forecasts, and support balance sheet consolidation.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for allocated entities.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash positions across group entities.
• Support statutory reporting and year-end accounts preparation, liaising with external auditors as required.
• Prepare and submit CIS returns, VAT returns, Pension return, PAYE & Pension payments, P11D and PSA submissions.
• Contribute to maintenance and improvement of financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Serve as a role model for the team in conduct, performance, and standards.
