Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Bristol is seeking an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to oversee the full site logistics package on a live major construction project. Start is immediate, contract length about 2 years, with hours 07:30–17:30.

This role requires end‑to‑end logistics leadership, coordinating deliveries, traffic operations and smooth flow of materials on a busy site. You will manage the delivery management system (training provided), run daily and weekly site logistics meetings,

Qualifications

• Proven experience running a logistics package on a construction site.
• Strong understanding of delivery management systems and site logistics coordination.
• Experience managing traffic marshals and delivery teams.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full site logistics package on a live construction project.
• Operate and oversee the delivery management system (training provided; system is simple and similar to industry-standard platforms).
• Coordinate daily and weekly site logistics meetings.
• Manage and direct traffic marshals, delivery teams, and on-site logistics operatives.
• Ensure safe and efficient movement of vehicles, materials, and equipment.
• Liaise with the Contracts Manager and wider site team to maintain programme alignment.
• Oversee delivery scheduling, bookings systems, and gatehouse operations.
• Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and logistics protocols.
• Support induction and handover processes for logistics personnel.
