Job Description:

A leading commercial law firm, advising a wide range of clients on complex construction litigation issues, is seeking to hire an experienced Construction Solicitor with 6+ PQE to join their practice.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of construction disputes, from pre-action advice to trial and appellate work. The role will also involve non-contentious work.

Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on all aspects of construction law, including contracts, claims, and disputes.
  • Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • Assisting partners with case management and trial preparation.
  • Representing clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

Person Specification

  • Admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales with 6+ PQE (post-qualification experience).
  • Previous extensive experience of both contentious and non-contentious construction work, including experience with the Building Safety Fund and the Developer Remediation Contract (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent litigation experience, with a proven track record of success.
