The Role

This role offers exposure to high-quality work across sectors such as energy technologies, infrastructure, utilities, commercial developments, PFI/PPP, and transport.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on contractual obligations and disputes
  • Leading court actions in TCC, Court of Session, and Sherrif Court
  • Providing pre-dispute advice, dispute avoidance, arbitration, mediation, and adjudication
  • Advising on project continuity and documenting settlements

The team is collaborative, friendly, and supportive, with ongoing training to meet personal career goals.

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 3 years of relevant PQE as a construction lawyer
  • Strong technical legal knowledge
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and clients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commercial awareness of current construction law
