Job summary

J Matthews Legal is seeking a Legal Counsel - Construction (non-contentious) to join a leading design, engineering and architecture studio in the UK. You will manage a broad non-contentious construction caseload with high autonomy and exposure to senior stakeholders.

The role offers flexible remote work up to three days per week and a clear path for career progression within a globally recognised practice. Prior in-house experience is not essential, and candidates with approximately 1–7 years

Legal Counsel - Construction (non-contentious)

Client

You will be working for a leading internationally renowned design, engineering and architecture studio.

Role

You will undertake an extremely diverse and broad role, working on a wide range of principally non-contentious Construction focused contracts and issues.

You will be given large amounts of autonomy to run with your own caseload from the off. You will have direct exposure to all levels of stakeholders from within the business. You will have fantastic opportunities for internal career progression and development.

You will be able to undertake up to 3 days per week of WFH/remote/home working in this role. The organisation has central London HQ offices.

You will have prior experience of non-contentious Construction matters. Prior in-house experience is not a pre-requisite for this position. You will be a qualified lawyer with approximately 1-7 years' PQE.
