Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and approachable candidate with background in Bricklaying or the Construction industry to join the Department of Construction. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering practical and academic courses in Bricklaying, contributing to departmental development, providing learner tutorials, and managing associated administrative tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• Industry experience in Construction or related environment
• At least Level 3 vocational qualification in Bricklaying
• Relevant industry and educational qualifications (e.g., Degree, QTS, PGCE, DTLLS, PTTLS)
• GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
• DBS clearance and update service
• Assessing and internal verification qualifications (A1, V1 or equivalent)
