About the Job

We are exclusively instructed by an ambitious Central London-based law firm, looking for a Construction Partner to join its expanding practice.

The firm is a leading law firm providing specialist advice to corporations and individuals and has an impressive list of clients. The firm has been instructed on large-scale construction matters, including acting for and against construction professionals, employers, and contractors on a mix of transport, engineering, energy, and infrastructure projects in the UK.

The Construction Partner will have a good understanding of complex construction contracts and be able to lead on these matters when appropriate, managing a team of junior associates if required. You will also be required to take the lead on business development opportunities, including managing client relationships and leading key client accounts.

The ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge and strong experience in Construction matters, adjudications, arbitrations, and a good working knowledge of the principal standard forms for construction contracts.

As this is a partner/senior opportunity, you will need to possess strong networking skills and the ability to generate leads. A client following is required for this opportunity.

The Candidate

  • Support the development of junior fee earners in the team
  • Collaborate with other partners and fee earners in the wider firm
