Job summary

Chadwick Nott Legal Recruitment represents a fast growing City law firm with an impressive real estate practice, now expanding its construction team. You will work closely with the Head of Construction and handle predominantly non-contentious matters with scope for contentious exposure.

Key duties include dealing with JCT and NEC contracts (FIDIC awareness), DD support, collateral warranties, and professional/consultant appointments and sub contracts, plus contentious elements such as TCC

Qualifications

• Experience handling non-contentious construction matters with exposure to some contentious work.
• Ability to manage multiple matters under supervision and in collaboration with partners.

Responsibilities

• Handle non-contentious construction matters in a fast-growing City firm.
• Assist with contentious construction matters including TCC proceedings, arbitration and litigation.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, collateral warranties, appointments and sub contracts.
