A prestigious West End legal practice is seeking a talented Construction Law Solicitor with 2 to 3 years' PQE to join their thriving team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction Law Solicitor with a strong academic background and experience at a reputable city or regional law firm, looking to specialise in construction law and work alongside senior professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Construction Law Solicitor's Role

The successful Construction Law Solicitor will work as a junior associate, supporting the firm's Managing Partner and a senior construction associate. The role will involve a diverse mix of contentious and non-contentious work, with a primary focus on the latter. The Construction Law Solicitor will handle a range of matters, including contract reviews, project management, and liaising with clients, such as high-net-worth individuals and luxury retail clients.

This role requires a Construction Law Solicitor who can confidently manage both transactional and contentious cases, as well as demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently when needed. Regular client interaction is a key component of this role, so excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.

The Construction Law Solicitor
  • 2 to 3 years' PQE as a qualified Solicitor, with a minimum of 6 months' experience in construction law.
  • Strong academic background, with excellent grades from a recognised institution.
  • Experience at a reputable city or regional law firm.
  • Experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters (UK or equivalent jurisdictions, e.g., New Zealand/NZ-qualified).
  • Understanding of the basic principles of construction law and familiarity with common forms of contract.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with high-net-worth individuals and retail clients.
  • Keen interest in pursuing a career as a construction law associate.
