Job summary

Legendre UK is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support project teams and uphold the highest safety standards across our London construction sites. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with UK legislation and ISO 45001.

• Experience leading health and safety on construction sites.
• Ability to promote a proactive safety culture and advise operational teams.
• Familiarity with UK legislation and ISO 45001.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive health and safety culture across all projects.
• Provide practical health and safety advice and support to operational teams.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance monitoring.
• Support the implementation and continual improvement of our ISO 45001 system.
• Review RAMS, lifting plans and temporary works documentation.
• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure appropriate control measures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and health and safety briefings.
• Prepare inspection reports, audit findings and monthly health and safety performance reports.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants and project teams.
