Job summary

Shirley Parsons Ltd is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for Manchester, primarily office-based with site visits. You will support and enhance HSE and quality systems across multiple fit-out projects, ensuring compliance and driving improvements.

Ideal candidates will have experience in construction/fit-out, strong ISO 45001/14001/9001 knowledge, and a full UK Driving Licence. The role offers a salary up to £60,000 with travel expenses covered.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health & Safety Advisor or similar role within construction/fit-out/interiors.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the company’s health, safety, environmental and quality management systems across live projects.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments for fit-out projects.
• Provide practical health and safety guidance to project teams, managers and subcontractors.
• Support incident investigations and identify corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and best practice.
