Job summary

Trevett Project Services in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator/Assistant Estimator to join a busy, expanding team. The role is hands-on, with involvement across the full estimating cycle from initial enquiry to contract award, including site visits along the M62 corridor.

You will review drawings, prepare detailed cost estimates, obtain supplier quotes, and produce timely tender submissions while building strong client and subcontractor relationships and

Qualifications

• Experience estimating UK construction projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and bills of quantities.
• Strong numeracy and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, bills of quantities and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, plant and subcontractors.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Produce tender submissions that are accurate and timely.
• Identify commercial risks and value‑engineering options.
• Attend site visits and pre/post tender meetings.
• Maintain estimating records and supplier data.
• Support handovers to commercial and project delivery teams.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor market rates and cost trends.
