Job summary

Acoustic Solutions, a specialist contractor based in Bolton, is looking for an organised Estimator to join their expanding team and develop a long-term career. You will review drawings, prepare cost estimates, liaise with suppliers, assist with tenders, and work with sales and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Ideal candidates will have experience in construction estimating, strong numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to work to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Estimator or Junior Estimator role.
• Experience within the construction industry (preferred).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations.
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of tenders.
• Updating estimates as project requirements change.
• Maintaining accurate project records and documentation.
• Working closely with the sales, design and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors.
