The Role:

We're on the hunt for an experienced Construction Estimator who has positive people skills combined with practical tendering expertise. This isn't your typical estimating role - you'll be part of our driven and successful team, delivering high end specialist finishes across central London and helping to double our annual revenue as part of our growth plan.

• You're comfortable juggling many balls at a time and can prioritise
• You're at home with pricing works, spreadsheets and cost control
• You have applicable experience and know what you are talking about
• You understand commercial contracting
• You thrive in fast-paced, success driven environments
• You're a self-starter who figures things out quickly
• You pride yourself on attention to detail

Required Skills In Order of Importance:

• Tendering, takes off's and bill of quantities
• Attention to detail with both written specifications and technical drawings
• People skills and getting the best out of everyone you meet
• Customer service and relationship building
• Proficient at communicating by phone, email and in person
• Understanding of contractual obligations
• Technical understanding of how things are built

The Ideal Candidate:

Whether you started working on site or took the academic route first - if you have that fire in your belly and that rare blend of personal and technical skills, we want to talk. (Note: pure corporate backgrounds with no site based experience are not a good fit)

You won't be thrown into chaos. As part of our agile team, you'll work directly with our company Directors and the project team to bring tenders to full completion. While the focus will be on numbers, quantities and contracts, we want your brain too - your ideas, your personality, your solutions to problems. If you see a way of improving something - we want you to speak up. We are looking for a team player who thinks ahead and isn't afraid to challenge the norm.

Founded in Essex in 2017, we specialise in luxury architectural plasters working for the UK's largest construction companies across central London. We're best known for installing Clayworks, Forcrete and Baswa acoustic finishes.

We have a team of 25+ full time staff spread across the office and live projects - primarily in the UK but we also deliver projects abroad including the middle east.
