A leading company is seeking a Construction Environmental Manager to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance. You will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance for the construction of water pipelines, managing risks, and collaborating with construction teams. This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining site and remote work.
Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting for a Construction Environmental Manager to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA).
The 330km SPA Project by Anglian Water is currently under construction and will be completed during AMP8. Additionally, there are plans to deliver a further 260km of water transfer pipelines and associated infrastructure in AMP8.
What will you be doing as our new Construction Environmental Manager?
You will support the SPA Environmental Manager and Enabling Team in delivering strategic priorities for the SPA project.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring all relevant consents, licences, and environmental permits are obtained for pipeline construction; developing and reviewing Construction Environmental Management Plans and Environmental Impact Assessments; and working collaboratively across SPA to ensure compliance with the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) throughout delivery milestones. You will also support Environmental Advisors in providing guidance to delivery teams.

Location: Hybrid work from SPA construction site offices across the Anglian Water region (minimum 3 days on site/week) and home.
