The role:

Opportunity for a dynamic Construction & Engineering NQ, including 2023 qualifiers, seeking a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious work with a leading team in Exeter.

This role would suit someone who wants to join a practice that is structured as a one-stop-shop when it comes to managing construction transactions and risk management for client projects. They're looking to offer someone a mixed caseload of work, with a focus on contentious matters.

Contentious work will typically involve handling cases for both employers and contractors, including adjudication, Pre-Action Protocol, TCC, and arbitration proceedings.

On the transactional side, you will work closely with the Commercial Development and Projects teams, particularly for developer and public sector clients. This includes advising on the complexities of multi-million-pound, multi-stakeholder procurement for prestigious regional and national projects.
