Bradford College is seeking an Employer Partnership Officer to build strategic relationships with construction employers across West Yorkshire, creating high-quality industry placements for learners. The role bridges education and employment, supporting learners into apprenticeships, jobs and other positive outcomes, and works toward regional initiatives addressing construction skills gaps.

This is a Full Time, Fixed Term role, 37 hours per week, running until the end of July 2027.

Competenze

• Experience of employer engagement, business development or partnership working.
• Experience of developing relationships with employers and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of the construction industry and workforce challenges.
• Experience of meeting targets and delivering outcomes.
• Experience of working with young people or education providers.

Mansioni

• Identify, engage and develop relationships with construction employers across West Yorkshire.
• Generate new work placement opportunities for learners on construction programmes.
• Develop sustainable employer partnerships supporting placements and employment.
• Represent the College at employer forums, networking events and industry meetings.
• Act as primary contact for employers participating in the programme.
• Promote placements, recruitment opportunities, apprenticeships and skills initiatives.
• Lead on sourcing and establishing work placements for Level 2 and Level 3 learners.
• Coordinate employer onboarding and ensure documentation is completed.
• Monitor placement capacity and forecast future needs.
• Develop progression opportunities from placements into employment or training.
