A leading global law firm is seeking a talented and driven construction disputes lawyer to join its top-ranked team in Scotland. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile and complex disputes across the infrastructure, energy, and construction sectors.

The Opportunity:
Join a Tier 1-ranked team (Chambers & Partners) that acts on landmark disputes in areas including energy transition, healthcare, education, commercial development, and transport. The firm advises a diverse range of clients from major investors and contractors to public sector bodies and insurers.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Advising on contentious construction, engineering, and energy matters

  • Representing clients in adjudications, arbitrations, litigation, and mediations

  • Working closely with experienced partners and a dynamic legal team

  • Contributing to business development initiatives and thought leadership

About You:

  • Qualified solicitor in Scotland or another common law jurisdiction

  • Experience or strong interest in contentious construction and infrastructure work

  • Track record in handling adjudications, mediations, court or arbitration proceedings

  • Commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice

  • A proactive team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
