Currently looking to speak with an experienced Senior Construction Manager for our client based in Teesside.

Salary: £140,000 - £150,000 + Bonus + Pension + Hybrid working arrangements.

Candidate Industry Background: Construction / Mining / Nuclear / Rail / Refinery / Chemical

Company Background:

The client is a leading engineering and technology company in the energy industry and chemicals sector, involved in new energy projects such as hydrogen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have proven experience in delivering large-scale projects with a budget exceeding £500 million.
  • Provide strategic advice to the Project Director to ensure all activities comply with UK legislation.
  • Lead the implementation of the construction quality management system throughout the project's construction phase.
  • Ensure all construction work is well-coordinated, aligned with project goals, and delivered according to schedule.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Sustainability Program across the project and its subcontractors.
  • Promote strong collaboration between contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain high standards of safety and environmental performance across all site activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience working on large-scale projects in the petrochemical, chemical, refinery, or gas sectors within the energy industry.
  • Degree-qualified in engineering, construction management, or a closely related discipline.
