What do you need to be a successful Design and Planning Lecturer at Activate Learning?
The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying and bring strong, practical industry experience. Ideally, they will also have experience teaching in further education, particularly in delivering the Design and Planning T Level, and hold a RICS-accredited qualification. Proficiency in using educational technologies, such as Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) and Microsoft Office applications, is important. A clear understanding of how students learn-and the ability to engage, motivate, and support them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential-is essential.
Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying with relevant industry experience
GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent in Maths and English, with confident current skills
Experience or understanding of further education, ideally with exposure to Design and Planning T Levels
Comfortable using Virtual Learning Environments and Microsoft Office tools
Strong grasp of learner needs and strategies to support student progression and achievement
