You have:

  1. Extensive Experience in Utility Construction Delivery: Proven track record in managing overhead line plant replacement, automation programmes, and multi-voltage (LV to 33kV) distribution projects within a regulated utility environment.
  2. Great Leadership and Team Management Skills: Experience leading operational and technical teams, driving productivity and safety, developing talent, and embedding a high-performing culture through coaching and performance management.
  3. Comprehensive SHE and Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SHE standards, SSEN Safety Management Systems, and governance frameworks such as DGIF, along with the ability to instil a safety-first mindset across teams.
  4. Commercial and Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to assess project value and risk, manage budgets, and deliver cost-effective outcomes in alignment with RIIO ED2 and wider regulatory requirements.
  5. Project Portfolio and Stakeholder Management Expertise: Skilled in planning, executing, and closing complex construction projects while engaging stakeholders (internal and external) and ensuring delivery readiness, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
