Blue Diamond Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established house builder as they seek to appoint a Contracts Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.

This opportunity has arisen following an internal promotion, testament to the company’s commitment to progressing their team. Our client can boast a wealth of experience, successfully operating across the West Midlands, holding a strong reputation for delivering traditional, high quality homes.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the person they appoint as a Contracts Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing multiple residential developments, supporting and managing a team of Site Managers. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining build quality, programme adherence and site safety, all while upholding the company’s long-standing standards of excellence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking Contracts Manager or Project Manager looking to make a long-term move within a supportive and values driven business.

We are seeking a professional, motivated individual who can demonstrate:

· 10+ years’ experience in a similar project manager or contracts manager role within residential development

· A background working with either a major PLC house builder or SME residential developer

· Proven ability to manage multiple sites and lead site-based teams

· Strong organisational skills and a hands-on, solution driven approach

· Excellent communication and leadership qualities

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and coordinate multiple residential sites

· Support and mentor Site Managers, ensuring build quality and health & safety standards are consistently achieved

· Monitor progress against programme and budget

· Liaise with senior leadership and other departments to ensure smooth delivery

· Represent the business professionally with clients, consultants and stakeholders
