Construction Buyer & Bookkeeper Wanted

Location: St Albans
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Hours: Full Time - Monday - Friday (Hybrid)
Start Date: Immediate

Are you an experienced Construction Buyer with bookkeeping skills? We’re looking for a proactive and organized professional to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing and purchasing construction materials and supplies at competitive rates.
  2. Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
  3. Handling basic bookkeeping duties, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
  4. Ensuring compliance with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
  5. Maintaining accurate records and assisting with financial reporting.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Construction Buyer.
  2. Basic bookkeeping skills (experience with accounting software is a plus).
  3. Familiarity with CIS regulations.
  4. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  5. Detail-oriented and organized with good time management.
