Job summary

We Are Footprint is looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join our construction team. You will produce high-quality tender submissions from initial PQQs and expressions of interest through to ITTs, coordinating with Estimating, Commercial, Pre-Construction and Operations to demonstrate capability and value.

You will review documents, identify risks and opportunities, gather project information from design and construction teams, and turn technical content into engaging bid responses.

Qualifications

• Experience writing bids in the construction sector.
• Ability to interpret tender documents and extract requirements.
• Strong written communication and client-focused responses.
• Ability to coordinate inputs from multiple internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Write and coordinate high-quality PQQ, SQ and tender submissions
• Review tender documents to identify requirements, risks and opportunities
• Collaborate with Estimating, Surveying, Design, and Construction teams
• Develop responses on methodology, programme, quality, H&S, sustainability
• Convert technical information into clear client-focused content
• Coordinate inputs from internal teams and ensure compliance
• Manage tender deadlines and multiple submissions concurrently
• Maintain bid content, case studies and company information
• Research clients, projects and procurement opportunities
• Support pre-construction/business development teams as needed
• Seek ways to improve submission quality and effectiveness
