Salary: £47,000 - £50,000

Basis: Full time

Contract: 1-year fixed-term

Eligibility: Must have been out of the workplace for 18 months or more

Role Responsibilities
  • Implement Transport for Wales Construction Management processes to ensure projects are delivered safely, with quality, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage on-site operations, acting as the main contact for daily project management and governance.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts and assist in developing site documentation.
  • Develop a positive safety culture by monitoring contractor and partner compliance with CDM duties, ensuring site safety according to industry regulations.
  • Coordinate with TFWRail and other stakeholders to ensure compliance across construction site operations.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant technical qualification or working towards NVQ Level 6 or degree in construction management or similar, with professional experience.
  • Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) accreditation.
  • Sentinel Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.
  • Experience working on large infrastructure construction sites in safety and management roles.
Additional Information

Welsh language skills are a plus but not essential. We support Welsh language development through various training options.
