Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Assurance Manager to join our team, focused on critical national infrastructure. You will lead on-site client representation, oversee construction assurance activities and drive improvements in quality, safety and delivery.

You will work within a large project team, coordinating with construction managers, contractors and supply chains to ensure compliance with technical standards and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Extensive construction delivery experience on major programmes.
• Ability to collaborate within a large project team.
• Proven ability to produce assurance reports for leadership and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Implement client-side construction assurance plan.
• Monitor contractors' adherence to approved methodologies, QMS and ITPs.
• Ensure construction works meet safety, quality, design and contract requirements.

Job Description

Then this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. Due to increased client demand Turner and Townsend are looking for Construction Assurance Manager to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing client-side construction assurance plan
• Monitor and verify that contractors implement approved construction methodologies, QMS and ITPs
• Provide assurance that construction works are delivered safely to required quality and compliance with design, technical standards, contract requirements and regulatory obligations
• Monitor construction progress against the accepted programme
• Construction Management Plan oversight and acceptance
• Act as client representative on site
• Produce assurance reports to leadership and regulators
• Capture lessons learned and drive improvements in construction quality, safety and delivery
• Manage and support any safety incidents

Qualifications

• Extensive construction experience in managing and assuring construction delivery on major programmes.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction management or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Chartered status (CEng, MCIOB, MRICS, MICE) or equivalent (desirable).
• Recognised HSE and environment qualifications (desirable).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large project team, including construction managers, contractors and supply chains to ensure compliance with technical standards, specifications and contractual obligations.
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence, be committed to delivering to agreed quality standards.
• Experience in construction assurance, and quality management.
• Knowledge of construction methods, risk management and safety requirements.
• Ability to produce assurance reports for the wider team, including senior stakeholders.
