We are seeking a Construction Assurance Engineer to join our Capital teams working on waste and water treatment projects. This role is home-based with travel across Powys, Wrexham, Chester, and Shropshire.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist project teams in risk mitigation and quality assurance.
  2. Ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
  3. Conduct pre-construction activities and assurance testing.
  4. Oversee on-site work to ensure standards and quality.
  5. Respond to incidents and contribute to project completion.
  6. Participate in site meetings and liaise with statutory bodies and the public.
  7. Assist with customer queries and conduct inspections and audits.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Civil engineering or construction background preferred.
  • Experience with site safety and relevant accreditations (IOSH/SMSTS).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
