Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking a Construction Associate for a fast-growing City law firm in London. You will handle non-contentious construction matters with some contentious work, reporting to the Head of Construction.

The role includes JCT/NEC contracts, collateral warranties, DD support, and subcontracts, with dispute avoidance and potential contentious work such as TCC, arbitration, litigation and adjudication.

Qualifications

• NQ-4 PQE with dedicated construction seat for NQ candidates.
• Experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle primarily non-contentious construction matters with some contentious work.
• Work closely with Head of Construction in a close-knit team.
• Work on JCT and NEC contracts, collateral warranties, subcontracts.
• Develop dispute avoidance strategies and handle TCC/arbitration/litigation/adjudication as needed.
